No. 531.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. HUMPHREY JOHN CRUTTWELL to act as his Private Secretary, with effect from 13th July, 1934.

With reference to Government Notification No. 356 of 4th May, 1934, His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Commander THOMAS ANDREW HUSSEY, R.N., to be a Member of the Hong Kong Naval Volunteer Committee, vice Commander CUTHBERT HELSHAM HEATH-CALDWELL, D.S.C., R.N., resigned, with effect from 27th June, 1934.

No. 535.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to recognize, provi- sionally and pending instructions from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, Mr. FERNANDO ALEGRE as Consul-General for Panama in Hong Kong.
