His Excellency the Governor in Council has been pleased to direct under section 7 of the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903, Ordinance No. 1 of 1903, that the name of Mr. WILLIAM SUE ING be added to the List of Authorized Architects published in Government Notification No. 697 of the 20th October, 1933.

It is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor in Council has given directions for the rescission of the Order of the 5th February, 1934, published in the Gazette of the 9th February, 1934, as Government Notification No. 83, declaring Shanghai to be a place at which an infectious or contagious disease, namely, small-pox, prevailed, and the same is hereby rescinded.

No. 402.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. ERIK BLYTH NELSON to be Assistant Superintendent of the Civil Aerodrome at Hong Kong, with effect from the 1st May, 1934.

No. 403-With reference to Government Notification No. 88 of 9th February, 1934, His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. WALTER RICHARDSON SCOTT to a Member of the Committed to administer the Mercantile Marine Assistance Fund of Hong Kong, vice Mr. LEONARD HORACE VERTUE BOOTH, with effect from the 17th May, 1934.
