APPOINTMENTS, &c.

No. 389.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under section 3 (3) of the Vaccination Ordinance, 1923, Ordinance No. 12 of 1923, to cancel the Authorisations set forth in Government Notification No. 824 of 22nd December, 1933.

16th May, 1934.

No. 390.-His Majesty the KING has been pleased to approve the appointment of the Honourable Sir WILLIAM EDWARD LEONARD SHENTON, Kt. to be an Unofficial Member of the Executive Council for a further period of five years, with effect from the 3rd April, 1933.

18th May, 1934.

No. 391.-Ilis Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. WILLIAM SWEET SMITH to be an Assistant Government Marine Surveyor (Engineer Surveyor), Harbour Department, with effect from 7th May, 1934.

No. 392.-The King's Exequatur empowering Mr. D. G. E. MIDDELBURG to act as Vice-Consul for the Netherlands at IIong Kong, has received His Majesty's signature.

BOTANICAL AND FORESTRY DEPARTMENT.

No. 393. With reference to the Forest Officers Ordinance, 1933, it is hereby notified that Fong Tam (i) has been appointed to act as Forest Guard in the Botanical and Forestry Department in place of Tam Sze (4) transferred, with effect. from the 1st May, 1934.
