An Ordinance to amend the Miscellaneous Licences Ordinance,

1933.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Miscellaneous Short title. Licences Amendment Ordinance, 1934.

2. Section 2 of the Miscellaneous Licences Ordinance, Amendment

of Ordin- 1933, is amended by the substitution of the following para-

ance No. 25 graph for paragraph (c) thereof :----

(c) "Hawker" means any person who trades in any street cf. 51 & or public thoroughfare or goes from place to place, or goes on s. 2: board any vessel, selling or exposing for sale any goods, wares 34 & 35 or merchandise immediately to be delivered, or exposing sam- s. 3. ples or patterns of any goods, wares or merchandise to be afterwards delivered, or selling or offering for sale his skill in handicraft, except a person selling or seeking orders for goods, wares or merchandise to or from persons who are dealers therein, and who buy to sell again.
