The rainfall for the month of April at the Botanical Gardens was 3ins. '67 on 12 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 3ins. 01 on 10 days, at Fanling, 1in. 14 on 8 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, 2ins. 01 on 17 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 634 at 17h. 00m. on the 28th. The maximum gust velocity of the wind, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemo- graph, was at the rate of 37 miles per hour at 13h. 11m. on the 28th.
