The rainfall for the month of March at the Botanical Gardens was 2ins. 11 on 10 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was lin. 80 on 11 days, at Fanling, 2ins. 07 on 10 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, 3ins. 02 on 13 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 724 at 16h. 00m. on the 26th. The maximum gust velocity of the wind, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemo- graph, was at the rate of 67 miles per hour at 4h. 11m. on the 21st.
