COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT.

No. 202.-It is hereby notified that the Convention between the United Kingdom and Turkey regarding Legal Proceedings in Civil and Commercial Matters which was signed at Augora on the 14th November, 1933, has been extended to this Colony as from the 14th December, 1933.

A copy of the Convention may be seen on application at this Office.

COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT.

IMPORTATION INTO INDIA OF GOODS FOR WHICH EMPIRE

PREFERENCE IS CLAIMED.

The Hong Kong Government has been notified that the Indian Central Board of Revenue has decided that in future a copy of the certified invoice tendered with the bill of entry shall be surrendered for retention by the Custom House. This requirement will involve the preparation of an additional copy of the invoice, where a copy is intended to be retained by the importer.

No. 204.-The following alteration is made to Government Notification No. S. 93 dated 6th March, 1934, which was published in the Hong Kong Government Gazette No. 11 of the 9th March, 1934 :-

"For the words "Length 28 feet" substitute the words "Length 23 feet ".
