ORDINANCE No. 10 of 1899. (MERCHANT SHIPPING).
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 25 (4) of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance, 1899, the Governor in Council further amends Table M in the Schedule to that Ordinance as follows:-
Amendments.
(1) In regulation 5.-
(a) for "a red pennant (F)" substitute "numeral
pennant No. 4".
(b) for "a white pennant (C)" substitute "numeral
pennant No. 1”.
(2) Add the following subheading and regulation,—
(X) Emergency signals.
27. (1) The signal N.Q. "I am on fire" should be used instead of the signal NM mentioned in section 25 (3) of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance, 1899.
(2) The signal R.X. be used instead of the section 25 (3).
"Want assistance-Mutiny" should signal YF mentioned in the said
