ORDINANCE No. 28 of 1917. (FERRIES).

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Ferries Ordinance, 1917, the Governor in Council hereby amends the list of excluded ferries appearing in Government Notification No. 441 published in the Gazette of the 23rd June, 1933, by the deletion of item 5 in such list, and the substitution therefor of the following item,

APPOINTMENTS, &c.

No. 4.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, under section 3 of the Dentistry Ordinance, 1914, Ordinance No. 16 of 1914. Dr. GEORGE DUNCAN RALPH BLACK to be a Member of the Dental Board for a further period of three years, with effect from 28th October, 1933.

No. 5.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. WILLIAM RICHARD KINGDON COLLINGS to be an Assistant Government Marine Surveyor (Ship Sur- veyor), Harbour Department, with effect from 28th December, 1933.

No. 6-Ilis Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint. Mr. THOMAS WILLIAM HAROLD HOSEGOOD to act as Deputy Harbour Master, during the absence on leave of Commander JOSEPH BERNARD NEWILL, D.S.O., R.N., (Retired), or until further notice, with effect from 30th December, 1933.
