No. 353.-It is hereby notified that the following information has been communicated to the longkong Government by the Consul General for the Netherlands in a letter dated the 7th instant :-
"The Governor General of Netherlands India by Decree of the 23rd October, 1911, No. 67, has enacted that the Colony of Hongkong is a country to which, in accordance with the stipulations of Article 1 of the Netherlands Indian Ordinance of the 26th August, 1911, No. 486, it is prohibited to export raw or prepared opium, morphine, compounds of opium, solids or liquids containing or being mixed with opinin or morphine, cocaine and ά and ß eucaine and all other drugs, which may be used as surrogates of morphine, as well as syringes or other instruments used for hypodermic injections with morphine and similar are ties; the export however is allowed, if it appears from an official certificate, that the articles to be exported may be imported in the country of destination."
