No. S. 14.-Under power conferred by Ordinance 10 of 1899, Section 39 (18), it is hereby notified that Waterboats are prohibited from lying abreast of one another whilst in the Water Service Station Lai-Chi-Kok and that when loaded they must leave the station at once.

No. S. 15.-Sealed tenders in quintuplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tenders for the construction of Mooring Buoys ", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 27th day of January, 1933.

Particulars:

1. To construct two reversible mooring buoys 10' 0" diameter and 8' 0" deep, each buoy to be fitted with 1,000 lbs. portable cast iron ballast in four slabs.

Inside diameter of tube 24 inches,

Inside diameter of tube castings 19 inches,

as per specification to be seen at the Assistant Government Marine Surveyor's Office, Yaumati.

2. To construct one Conical Buoy 8' 0" deep and 5' 0" diameter plating " Buoy to be fitted with eye piece on top and bottom "×23" eye hole 2′′.

Supply two shackles of 14" diameter fitted with pins extending 11′′ through shackle for clenching up shackle pins to be fitted with forelocks and taper pins.

3. To construct two conical buoys 4' 6" deep and 2' 6" diameter plating "with

eye piece 1" diameter on bottom of each buoy.

Supply two shackles of 14" diameter fitted with pins extending 11" through shackle for clenching up.

Shackle pins to be fitted with forclocks and taper pins.

4. To construct one cylindrical buoy length 3' 6" diameter 2′ 0′′ plating "

To fit 3" band round centre of Buoy with eye plate on top and bottom with link on each eye of 1" diameter.

Supply one " diameter shackle fitted with pin extending 11′′ through shackle for clenching up.

Shackle pin to be fitted with forelock and taper pin.

5. To construct one reversible Launch mooring buoy 5' 0" diameter and 4′ 0′′

deep plating 5/16".

Buoy to be fitted with eye plate 2" diameter over double plate on top and bottom. Body plating to be fitted on outside with three 1"x2" half round chafing bars.

Supply one shackle 13" diameter fitted with pins extending 1" through shackle for clenching up. Shackle pins to be fitted with fore- lock and taper pin.

6. To construct three Fairway Buoys (similar to those at present in use marking the Western entrance to the Central Fairway). Particulars can be obtained at the Assistant Government Marine Surveyor's Office, Yaumati.
