4. The Colonial Secretary laid on the table the Reports of the Finance Committee (Nos. 11 and 12), dated the 26th October, 1933, and the 7th December, 1933, respectively, and moved their adoption.

MOTIONS.
5. The Colonial Secretary moved :—
That this Council approves of the further expenditure of $139,000 on the Vehicular Ferry during the financial year 1933, which sum shall be met from a future loan and shall meanwhile be charged as an advance from the Surplus Balances of the Colony.
The Colonial Treasurer seconded. Question-put and agreed to.
6. The Colonial Secretary moved: ---

8. Telephone Amendment Bill.-The Attorney General addressed the Council and moved the First reading of a Bill intituled "An Ordinance to amend further the Telephone Ordinance, 1925.”
