ORDINANCE No. 10 of 1899. (MERCHANT SHIPPING).

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 25 (4) of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance, 1899, the Governor in Council further amends Table M in the Schedule to the said Ordinance as follows:

Amendment.

In regulation 7 (on page 1027 of Volume II of the Ordinances of Hong Kong, 1844-1923) the words "ten knots'' are substituted for the words "nine knots”.

7 All vessels exceeding sixty tons shall when under way, within the harbour limits, proceed with due caution And at a speed not exceeding ten knots, unless circumst increase necessary.

ORDINANCE No. 22 OF 1919.

(PLACES OF PUBLIC ENTERTAINMENT REGULATION)

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 (1) of the Places of Public Entertainment Regulation Ordinance. 1919, the Governor in Council hereby rescinds regulation 4 of the regulations published as Government Notification No. 250 in the Gazette of the 13th April, 1933. and substitutes the following regulation therefor :-

4. The fee for censoring films in any appeal as aforesaid shall be $8.00 per reel. In all other cases of censoring films the fee shall be $1.00 per short reel or trailer under 300 feet, $2.00 per short reel or trailer exceeding 300 feet but not exceeding 500 feet, $4.00 per reel exceeding 500 feet but not exceeding 1000 feet and $5.00 per reel exceeding 1000 feet. Posters will be censored free of charge.
