APPOINTMENTS, &c.

No. 663.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. LANCELOT RUGGLES ANDREWES to act as Assistant Land Officer and Deputy Registrar of Marriages, with effect from the 28th September, 1933, until further notice.

No. 664.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. WALTER RICHARDSON SCOTT to be a Superintendent of Police, with effect from 4th May, 1933.

5th October, 1933.

No. 665.-The King's Exequatur empowering Mr. MERRIT N. COOTES to act as Vice-Consul for the United States of America in Hong Kong has received His Majesty's signature.

6th October, 1933.

No. 666.-The King's Exequatur empowering Herr H. GIPPERICH to act as German Consul at Hong Kong has received His Majesty's signature.

No. 667.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to make the following appointment under the provisions of the Hong Kong Volunteer Regulations, 1933:-

Captain PERCIVAL STEPHEN MILWARD WILKINSON, The Wiltshire Regiment, to

be Adjutant, with effect from 4th October, 1933.

No. 668.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, under the provisions of paragraph 8 of Statute 4 of the Second Schedule of the University Ordi- nance, 1911, Ordinance No. 10 of 1911, Mr. EDWARD COCK, M.B.E., M.I.N.A., to act as a Member of the Court of the University of Hong Kong, during the absence from the Colony of Mr. ROBERT MORTON DYER, C.B.E., with effect from 1st October, 1933.
