Teachers' Superannuation.

THE TEACHERS SUPERANNUATION (COLONIAL RECIPROCITY) SCHEME, 1933, DATED MAY 9, 1933, MADE BY THE BOARD OF EDUCATION WITH THE CONSENT OF THE TREASURY UNDER SECTION 21 (1) (c) OF THE TEACHERS (SUPERAN- NUATION) ACT, 1925 (15 & 16 GEO. 5. c. 59).

This Scheme may be cited as the Teachers Superannuation (Colonial Reciprocity) Scheme, 1933, and effect is hereby given to the following arrangements made between the Board of Education and the authoritics administering statutory schemes of superannuation in those parts of His Majesty's dominions which are specified in the First Schedule to the arrangements:-

1. Definitions.--In these arrangements unless the context otherwise requires:-

"The English Act" means the Teachers (Superan- nuation) Act, 1925.

"English pensionable service" means service in respect of which a superannuation allowance or gratuity may be granted under Part II of the English Act.

"The Board" means the Board of Education for England and Wales.

"Colony" means one of the territories specified in the First Schedule hereto.

"Colonial Scheme" means a statutory scheme of superannuation for school teachers in a Colony.
