3. The Hon, the Officer Commanding the Troops, (Colonel ROBERT BAXTER Cousens, D.S.O.), the Hon. the Secretary for Chinese Affairs, (Mr. ALAN EUSTACE WooD), the Hon. Mr. ARTHUR GEORGE WARNHAM TICKLE, (Director of Public Works), and the Hon. Mr. PAUL LAUDER, took the Oath of Allegiance and assumed their seats as Members of the Council.
