No. 350. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. RONALD RUSKIN TODD to be Chief Assistant to the Secretary for Chinese Affairs, with effect from the 15th May, 1933.

No. 351. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. FREDERICK CHARLES HALL to be a Member of the Sanitary Board for a further term of three years, with effect from 23rd May, 1933.

No. 352.--His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. JOHN SUTHERLAND MACLAREN to be Deputy Estate Duty Commissioner and Assistant Colonial Treasurer, with effect from the 20th May, 1933.

His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint JACK COOPER FITZ HENRY, Deputy Superintendent and Inspection Officer of the Fire Brigade and GEORGE SAUNDERS and WILLIAM MCINTOSH SMITH, Station Officers of the Fire Brigade to be Government Inspectors under the Gunpowder and Fireworks Ordinance, No. 14 of 1901, Section 14.

No. 354.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to approve the promo- tion of Lieutenant J. DURRAN, M.B., Ch.B. (Edin.), to the rank of Captain, in the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps, with effect from 5th May, 1933.
