The rainfall for the month of April at the Botanical Gardens was lins. 95 on 9 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 2ins. 05 on 9 days, at Fanling, 1ins. 63 on 8 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, lins. 40 on 9 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ius. 796 at 17h. 32m. on the 6th. The maximum gust velocity as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 42 miles per hour at 5h. 37m. on the 12th.
