ORDINANCE No. 10 of 1899.

(MERCHANT SHIPPING).

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 25 (4) and 42 (1) of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance, 1899, the Governor in Council hereby further amends Table M in the Schedule to the said Ordinance by the rescission of the boundaries of the Special Quarantine Anchorage, as set out in the second amendment in Notification No. 264 published in the Gazette of the 21st April, 1933, and the substitution of the following boundaries therefor:

On the North.----Latitude On the South-Latitude On the East. Longitude. On the West.-Longitude

22°. 18'. 36′′ N. 22°. 18'. 12′′ N. .114°. 12′. 36′′ E. 114°. 11'. 36′′ E.

ORDINANCE No. 32 of 1932. (EMPIRE PREFERENCE).

In exercise of the power conferred by subsection (2) of section 2 of the Empire Preference Ordinance, 1932, the Governor in Council, by this Order, fixes at least one half as the proportion of value, in substitution for the proportion of at least one quarter specified in the said subsection.

NOTE:Subsection (2) of section 2 of Ordinance No. 32 of 1932 is

as follows :—

(2) No vehicle shall be deemed to be substantially manufactured within the British Empire unless, in the opinion of the Inspector General of Police, at least one quarter, or such other proportion as the Governor in Council may fix by Order, of its value is the result of labour within the British Empire.
