The rainfall for the month of March at the Botanical Gardens was lins. 34 on 9 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was lins. 39 on 8 days, at Fanling, lins. 29 on 7 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, lins. 24 on 7 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 726 at 17h. 00m. on the 26th.
The maximum gust velocity of the wind, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 48 miles per hour at 20h. 15m. on the 5th.
