ORDINANCE No. 2 of 1870. (PUBLIC PLACES REGULATION).

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Public Places Regulation Ordinance, 1870, the Governor in Council makes the following further regulations :-

Government Ferry Piers at Connaught Road Central, Pei Ho Street (Shamshuipo), Shan Tung Street (Mongkoktsui) and Jordan Road (Kowloon).

1. No person shall climb over or attempt to climb over any barrier, or enter or attempt to enter or leave any waiting area except by the proper entrances and

exits.

2. No person shall do or attempt to do any act or thing causing or calculated to cause damage or injury to the offices, barriers, gates, roofing, superstructure, fittings, furniture or appliances of or belonging to any of the Piers above named.

3. No person shall use or fix any additional fendering on the face of any of the said piers, or use improperly or interfere with any machinery, appliance or apparatus provided upon or for any of the said piers.

4. No person shall bring alongside any of the said piers any craft in such a manner as to ram or damage the same or any portion of the superstructure thereof.

5. No person shall make use of any part of any of the said piers or the superstructure thereof for warping or tieing up alongside, except the bollards and ring bolts provided for such purposes.

6. No person shall cause

or allow any craft to lie alongside any of the said piers except for the purpose of embarking or disembarking the ferry traffic,
