ORDINANCE No. 1 of 1903. (PUBLIC HEALTH AND BUILDINGS).
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 of the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903, the Sanitary Board makes the following amendments of and additions to the by-laws under the heading "Dairies" set forth in Schedule B to the above-mentioned Ordinance and amended as appears in Government Notifications Nos. 214 and 303 of 1932 :-
(a) By-law No. 3 is rescinded and the following by-law
is substituted therefor:
3. No person shall use any dairy as a sleeping room or for domestic purposes; nor for any other purpose except as a dairy unless with the written permission of the Board
(b) By-law No. 12, set forth in Government Notification
No. 303 of 1932, is amended as follows,
(1) by renumbering the same as by-law No. 15:
and
(2) by the substitution of the word and figures "11 and 12" for the word and figures "and 11" in the sixth line.
(c) The following by-laws are added:-

12. The registered proprietor of a dairy shall not knowingly allow any person to be employed at his dairy who is suffering from or is a carrier- of any one of the following diseases:
Cholera, enteric, cerebro-spinal-meningitis, scarlet fever, diphtheria, pulmonary tuberculosis or dysentery;
nor shall he knowingly employ himself at his dairy while suffering from or a carrier of any such disease.
13. The applicant for registration of a dairy shall, upon applying for registration, inform the Board of the sources of his milk supply; and in the event of any source of supply being changed at any time, shall forthwith inform the Board of the change.
14. The registered proprietor shall not, have in his dairy any milk derived otherwise than from a dairy registered under these by-laws except with the written permission of the Board.
