It is hereby declared by order of His Excellency the Governor in Council that Swatow is a place at which an infectious or contagious disease, namely, small-pox, prevails.

ORDINANCE No. 26 of 1913. (EDUCATION).
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Education Ordinance, 1913, the Governor in Council makes the following amendment of the Education Regulations set forth in Government Notification No. 772 published in the Gazette of the 9th December, 1932.
Amendment.
The figure "7" in the first paragraph of regulation 1 is deleted and the figure "8" is substituted therefor.

NOTE: Before the publication of the Regulations of Hong Kong, 1844-1925, the requirement in respect of floor space for each pupil in attendance was not less than 8 square feet; the effect of the amendment is to restore such requirement.
