EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.

Hong Kong.

ORDINANCE No. 32 of 1932. (EMPIRE PREFERENCE).

ORDINANCE No. 5 of 1870. (CROWN FEES)

Whereas by the Empire Preference Ordinance. 1932, a special licence fee is made payable for, motor vehicles which are not Empire products: And whereas it appears to the Governor in Council that such fee should be refunded in any particular case where it is made to appear that a private motor vehicle, in respect of which a fee as aforesaid has been paid, has been brought into and kept in the Colony. for a period not exceeding three months, on the occasion of or in connexion with a temporary stay in the Colony of the owner of such motor vehicle Now, therefore, it is ordered by the Governor in Coumeil that any application for refund as aforesaid shall be made through the Inspector General of Police, to whom the facts of the particular case shall be supplied by the applicant, in order that he may verify such facts and submit his report thereon to the Governor in Council.
