20. Every person, not being an officer of police, who
(1) has in his possession any article being part of the clothing, accoutrements or appointments supplied to any officer of police and is not able satisfactorily to account for his possession thereof; or
(2) puts on the dress, or takes the name, designation or character of any officer of police for the purpose of thereby obtaining admission into any house or other place, or of doing or procuring to be done any act which any such officer would be entitled to do or procure to be done of his own authority, or for any other unlawful purpose, shall, in addition to any other punishment to whieli he may be liable for such offence, be liable to a fine not exceeding two hundred dollars.
