The rainfall for the month of October at the Botanical Gardens was Oins. 01 on I day, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was (ins. 23 on 5 days, at Fanling, Qins. 72 on 4 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, (jins. ·15 on 3 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 830 atl5 h. 00m. on the 2nd.
The maximum gust velocity as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 38 miles per hour at 3. 40m. on the 17th.
