The staff is painted White, and 33 feet high from the base to the centre of the Light. The Light is elevate 191 feet above high water level, has a power of about 100 candles, and will be visible in clear weather at a distance of 8 nautical miles for an arc of 147° 30′ of horizon from S. 42° 30′ W., through west and north, to N. 10° E. The bearings are magnetic and from seaward.

No. S. 264-It is hereby notified that tenders will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Tuesday, the 22nd November, 1910, for repairs to Sanitary Department Lighters Nos. 1, 2 and 4.

Specifications can be obtained at the Sanitary Board Office, “Beaconsfield ”. Repairs to be executed to the satisfaction of the Government Marine Surveyor. The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
