Alteration in Columu.
Ir is hereby notified for the information of Mariners that, from and after the 1st February, 1911, to enable the light to be easily located during the day, the existing plain "Masonry tower" of the Pulicat Lighthonse bearing 13° 25' N. Long, and 80° 20' E Lat. will be altered to a Masonry column with 4 alternative bands of white and black, white at the top."

WITH reference to this Office Notice to Mariners No. 8 of 1910, information has been received from the Port Officer, Cochin, that the Bar, Spit and Quarantine buoys at Cochin will be replaced in position on the 15th September 1910 and that the light at Mallipuram will be discontinued after the 30th idem as usual.
