The light becomes invisible at N. 59° E. to N. 157 5′ E. behind the islands Moeboer, Djemadja. It is visible, however, in the Impoel passage up to 3.2 nautical miles, within which distance it is darkened by the hills of the island itself, in the same way the light is darkened here and there at the Western side of Mangkai within 15 nautical miles.
