No. S. 190.-Particulars and Conditions of Sale of the Pier and of the right of erecting and
maintaining a Pier over Crown Foreshore opposite Ice House Street, to be held at the Offices of the Public Works Department by order of His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government, on Monday, the 26th day of September, 1910, at 3 p.m., for a term of 39 years and 1 month commencing from the 1st day of December, 1910.

CONDITIONS OF SALE.
1. The Pier and rights will be leased for the period from 1st December, 1910, to 31st December, 1949.
2. The existing Pier and every extension thereof and every Pier erected in lieu thereof shall be subject in all respects to the provisions of Ordinance No. 11 of 1899 and of any amending Ordinance hereafter passed and rent shall be paid in accordance with the Schedule attached to the said Ordinance commencing from the date of sale.
3. No Pier hereafter erected on the Site shall exceed the dimensions specified or shall be of less dimensions than 150′ x 50': the area of the Pier to be calculated on the over-all dimensions at deck level, that is, including fenders, whether vertical or horizontal.
4. The highest bidder above the upset price shall be the Purchaser and if any dispute arise between two or more bidders, the Pier and rights shall be put up again at the bidding in dispute.
5. No person shall at any bidding advance less than $100.
6. The Purchaser must pay into the Treasury within three days of the day of sale, the full amount of Premium at which he shall have agreed to purchase.
7. Any vessel lying alongside the Pier must not project beyond the end of
the Pier.
8. When the conditions hereinbefore contained have been complied with to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works, the Purchaser shall be entitled to and shall execute on demand, a Lease from the Crown of the Pier and rights for the period from the 1st day of December, 1910, to the 31st day of December, 1949, at such monthly rental, payable in advance, as is specified in the Schedule to the Piers Ordinance (No. 11 of 1899); and such Crown Lease shall be in the form which may be seen at the Public Works Offices, and shall contain the special covenants and conditions hereinafter specified.
9. Should the Purchaser neglect or fail to comply with these conditions, his Premium or any portion thereof which may be paid, shall be thereupon forfeited to His Majesty, who shall be at full liberty either to enforce the sale or to re-sell the Pier and rights at such time and place, and in such manner as to His Majesty shall seem fit, and in case of re-sale the increase, if any, of the Premium or purchase money, shall be retained by His Majesty, and the deficiency, if any, and all costs and expenses, shall be made good by the defaulter and be
