POLICE DEPARTMENT.
No. S. 163.-It is hereby notified that tenders will be received at the Colonial Secre- tary's Office until Noon of Saturday, the 27th August, 1910, for the construction of a new decked hull for No. 4 Police Pinnace.
The hull to be of teakwood and of the following dimensions
Length, over perpendiculars...............40 ft. Breadth, outside planking...........
Depth, moulded...................
8 ft.
4 ft. 6 in.
The machinery of present No. 4 Police Pinnace to be thoroughly overhauled, and fitted on board, where possible, including boiler, tanks, bunkers, shafting, stern tube, pro- peller, &c.
The tender to include all cost of fitting the hull complete and ready for harbour use, and a time to be stated in which the work can be completed.
After completion the vessel is to run a satisfactory trial.

No. S. 164-It is hereby notified that licences to shoot and take game granted under Ordinance 6 of 1885, are due for renewal or issue on first day of September, 1910.
Applicants for such licences, the fee for which is $10, are requested to give their addresses, and write their names legibly.
