SIREN. AT SHIOKUBI-ZAKI, SOUNDED AGAIN.

NOTICE is hereby given that, the siren at Shiokubi-zaki Lighthouse, Province of Oshima, Hokkaido, which was temporarily discontinued (Notification No. 551 of Dept. of Communications. April, 1910), has been operated to be sounded as ever, on and after the 31st May, 1910.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Drinkwater Point Gas-lighted Buoy has been altered in colour to red and now lies in 18 feet of water at low water of spring tides, with Shawei- shan Lighthouse bearing N. 85° E., distant 12-2 miles.

It now marks the starboard side of the channel for vessels bound in.
