No. S. 94. The following Bill was read a first time at a Meeting of the Council held on the 2nd June, 1910 :-
A BILL
ENTITLED
An Ordinance to authorize the Appropriation of a Supplementary Sum of Three hundred and fourteen thousand five hundred and thirty- three Dollars and thirty-two Cents, to defray the Charges of the Year 1909.
WHEREAS it has become necessary to make further pro- vision for the public service of the Colony for the year 1909, in addition to the charge upon the revenue of the Colony for the service of the said year already provided for:
BE it enacted by the Governor of Hongkong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:
A sum of Three hundred and fourteen thousand five hundred and thirty-three Dollars and thirty-two Cents is herely charged upon the revenue of the Colony for the service of the year 1909, the said sum so charged being expended as hereinafter specified; that is to say :-

Harbour Master's Department, Observatory, -
Miscellaneous Services,
Police and Prison Departments,
Public Works Extraordinary, -
Pensions,
