No. S. 88.-It is hereby notified that the following Sales of Crown Land by Public .Auction will be held at the District Land Office, Beaconsfield, Hongkong, at 2.30 p.m., on

Friday, the 3rd day of June, 1910.

The Lots are sold for the term of Seventy-five years from the 1st day of July, 1898, with the right of renewal for a further term of 24 years less 3 days at a re-assessed Crown Rent as Building Lots subject to the General Conditions of Sale published in Government Notification No. 365 of 1906.

The amount to be spent on each Lot in rateable improvements under the General Con- dition No. 5 is $200.

No. S. 89. The attention of Owners of Property and Contractors in the Colony is directed to Clauses Nos 26 and 27 of the Water Works Ordinance, 1903, and to the Water Works Regulations governing the construction of services for the supply of water. Any person infringing or neglecting to comply with the Clauses specified or with the Regulations is liable to heavy penalties.

No. S. 90.-Scaled tenders will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until noon of Monday the 6th day of June, 1910, for the renting of Quarry A/6, Ngau Tau Kok, from 1st July, 1910, to 31st December, 1912.

Tenders must be in a form which will be supplied by the Director of Public Works upon deposit of a sum of $50 which sum shall be refunded on receipt of a bonâ jide tender.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the highest or any tender.
