MAGISTRACY.
No. S. 75.-It is hereby notified that by command of His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government, and pursuant to Section 5 of the Liquor Licences Amend- ment Ordinance, 1909, (Ordinance No. 46 of 1909), an Election by the Justices of the Peace of a Justice of the Peace to serve on the Licensing Board vice Mr. CRADDOCK resigned will take place at the Land Office, Supreme Court Building, on Wednesday, the 18th day of May, 1910, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The only persons entitled to vote at the Election are the Justices of the Peace. The election will be conducted in accordance with the Rules made by the Governor-in-t'ouncil under Section 5 of the above named Ordinance dated 5th January, 1910, and published in the Government Gazette dated 7th January, 1910.
Voting will commence at 11 a.m. and continue until 1 p.m. when the ballot-box will be closed.

LAND REGISTRY OFFICE.
No. S. 76. It is hereby notified that the following Sales of Crown Land by Public Auction will be held at the District Land Office, Tai Po, at 10 a.m., on Saturday, the 14th day of May, 1910.
The Lots are sold for the term of Seventy-five years from the 1st day of July, 1898, with the right of renewal for a further term of 24 years less 3 days at a re-assessed Crown Rent, Lot No. 1765 as a Threshing Floor and Lots Nos. 2468 and 876 as Building Lots, subject to the General Conditions of Sale published in Government Notification No. 365 of
1906.
Lot No. 1765 is further subject to special condition No. 1 published in Government Notification No. 697 of 1909.
The amount to be spent in rateable improvements on each of the Lots Nos. 2468 and 876 under the General Condition No. 5 is $100.
