Alteration in Position of Taku Light-vessel.
NOTICE is hereby given that, as soon as circumstances permit-probably about the 15th April, the Taku Light-vessel will be shifted to a position about 2 miles N.N.E. from her present position.

Notification No. 321 of Department of Communications.
OHAMA-SAKI SIGNAL STATION AND KONE-JIMA SIGNAL STATION TO BE ESTABLISHED.
NOTICE is hereby given that signal stations will be established at Ohama-saki and Kone- jima, at Mihara-seto in the Inland Sea, where warning and tile signals will be shown on and after April 1st, 1910, in accordance with the provisions of Notification No. 673 of the Department of Communications, July 1909, and the following regulations.
ART. I. —No warning signal will be given regarding the movements of steam launches, motor launches and small steamers navigating in the vicinity of the stations.
ART. II.-Explanations of the warning signals are given in the annexed statement. ART. III.-Tide signals indicate the "periods" of the current at Mekari-seto, their meaning being as follows:-
L.--The first or the last period of the easterly current.
II. The middle period of the easterly current.
III. The first or the last period of the westerly current.
IV.
The middle period of the westerly current.
ART. IV. The "easterly current " mentioned in the preceding Article means a current flowing along Mihara-seto towards Bingo-nada from the direction of Aki-nada, and the westerly current" one flowing along the same seto towards Aki-nada from the direction of Bingo-nada.

OHAMA-SAKI LIGHT AND KONE-JIMA LIGHT TO BE DISCONTINUED.
NOTICE is hereby given that the lights from Ohama-saki Lighthouse and Kono-jima Lighthouse, at Mihara-seto in the Inland Sea, will be permanently discontinued on April 1st, 1910.
On and after the same day, the following additional red lights on the galleries of Ohama-saki tide signal tower and Kone-jima tide signal tower will cover the sunken rock Kakari-ze and Noji-tai (Admiral Bank) respectively, just as they have been covered by the red sectors from the above two lighthouses.
ADDITIONAL LIGHT AT OHAMA-SAKI TIDE SIGNAL TOWER. Height of light-17-3 feet from the base, and 48-1 feet above the water.
The position and others are the same as those of the former lighthouse.
ADDITIONAL LIGHT AT KONE-JIMA TIDE SIGNAL TOWER. Height of light-8.3 feet from the base, and 134-5 feet above the water.
The position and others are the same as those of the former lighthouse.
