No. S. 53. It is hereby notified that, in accordance with the terms of The Rating Ordinance, No. 6 of 1901, Owners and Occupiers of Tenements are reminded that Rates for the 2nd Quarter of 1910 are payable in advance on or before the 30th April, 1910.

If any person shall fail to pay such Rates on or before the 31st May, 1910, proceedings will be taken in the Supreme Court for their recovery without further notice.

No Refund of Rates on vacant tenements will be granted unless such Rates have been paid during and within the month of April, nor unless application is made for such refund within fifteen days from the expiration of the Quarter.

THE master of the Swedish Steamer Yeddo reports having passed on the 27th instant in Latitude 29° 40′ N. and Longitude 124° 47′ E. a small vessel keel up.

When sighted she was in the route of steamers passing from Shanghai to Japan and vice versâ.

REFERRING to Notice to Mariners, No. 5 of 1909, dated the 25th February, 1900, masters of vessels and others are hereby informed that the Red Light mentioned therein, exhibited from the lower part of the tower, and showing over the Scraper shoal from about south by west until shut in by the high land of Cape St. Albans, will be discontinued on the 1st May next.

This affects Admiralty charts 2389в, 1014 and 25.
