SWATOW DISTRICT.

Temporary Light on Chilang Rock.

NOTICE is hereby given that on or about the 1st April a temporary Light will be exhibited from the summit of Chilang Rock (Chilang Point). The Light will be Group- occulting, of the Sixth Order, showing a white light varied by three occultations in quick succession every 30 seconds, thus:

The Light, which will be elevated about 120 feet above the level of the sea, should be visible in clear weather at a distance of 10 nautical miles.

This Light is established for the service of vessels attending the construction of a First-order Light-station on Chilang Rock.
