NOTICE TO MARINERS.
A cable mark buoy belonging to the Japanese Government laid down on the 5th of last December, between Kelung "Formosa" and the Yayayama Group, approximately in Lati- tude 25° N. and Longtitude 122° E. is reported as having broken adrift.
The buoy is iron, 7 feet long, and 5 feet diameter, on top, was fitted with a pole and flag, and painted on upper half red and white.
Any information respecting the said buoy will be gladly received by the Japanese Consul here.

Tenderers must produce a receipt that they have deposited in the Colonial Treasury the sum of Twenty-five dollars as a pledge of the bona fides of their tender, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if any tenderer fails or refuses to carry out his tender, should the tender be accepted.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
