BOSTON POINT.

AND that an unwatched fixed light has also been exhibited from a skeleton iron tower on Boston Point, at an elevation of 40ft., and should be visible in clear weather at a distance of about 12 miles. The light will show Red from S. 5° W. to S. 54° W. over Bolingbroke Point, Rabbit Island, etc.; White S. 54° W. to N. 16° W.; Red from N. 16° W. to N. 36° E. over Kangaroo Reef and Boston Island; White from N. 36° E. to S. 5° W., except where obscured by the high land of Boston Point.

Approximate position-Lat., 34° 39' S.; long., 135° 56′ E.

All bearings correct magnetic.

This affects Admiralty charts 2389в and 784.
