No. S. 7.—It is hereby notified that information has been received from the Military Authorities that Gun Practice will be carried out as under :-
On Tuesday, the 25th January, 1910:-

From the East of Hongkong and Devil's Peak in a direction of from South- East to North-East, at ranges up to 6,250 yards, commencing at 10.30 p.m.
On Thursday, the 27th January, 1910:-
From the West of Hongkong and Stonecutters in a direction of from South- West to North-West, at ranges up to 10,700 yards, commencing at 10
a.m.
If the weather is unfavourable on either of the above dates, practice will take place on the following day.
All ships, junks and other vessels are to keep clear of the range.

With reference to Government Notification No. 25 published in the Govern- ment Gazette on January 14th, 1910, it is hereby notified by command of His Excellency the Governor that the election by the Justices of the Peace of three Justices of the Peace to serve on the Licensing Board will take place in the Land Office, Supreme Court Building, on Wednesday, the 26th day of January, 1910, from 11 a.m. to 1 pm., instead of at the Magistracy from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Shouding of Tsungming Crossing.
NOTICE is hereby given that recent soundings show that the Tsungming Crossing is shoaling, and that there is now a depth of only 13 feet at low water of spring tides in the neighbourhood of the Second Crossing Buoy.
