No. 381.

Amendment of Schedule E of the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903, made by the Governor-in-Council under Section 266 of the aforesaid Ordinance, this 8th day of December, 1910.

Schedule E of the Public Health and Buildings Ordinances, 1903-1909, is hereby amended by the addition of the following clause which to be numbered 4A:-

"That in the event of

Street being hereafter raised, hereby undertake on receipt of a notice in writing signed by the Building Authority to raise within a period of three months from the date of such notice and at own expense the whole of the ground floor surfaces to such levels as shall be determined by the Building Authority and

further undertake

to make no claim for compensation on the Government in respect of such raising."

Regulations made by the Governor-in-Connell under Sections 29 (4) and 32 (2) of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance, 1899, (Ordinance No. 10 of 1899), this 8th day of December, 1910.

Regulations for Steam Trawlers and other Fishing Vessels propelled by mechanical power other than oars or sails.

1. No vessel propelled by steam or other mechanical power, other than oars or sails, shall trawl within the waters of the Colony, or within three nautical miles of the coast thereof.

2. Every such vessel of European design, while regularly engaged in trawling upon the high seas, shall have the option of paying her light dues, under Section 32, and Table P of the Schedule to the above named Ordinance, or of compoundling for such light dues by the payment of a monthly sun according to the scale annexed hereto.

3. It shall be lawful for the Harbour Master, in such cases as he may think fit, to issue, to any of such vessels of European design, a permit which shall exempt such vessel from the provisions of Section 22 of the above named Ordinance, in so far as entering and clearing is concerned, but the Master of any such vessel so exempted shall render a monthly return of such vessel's movements to the Harbour Master.

Scale of composition for light dues for ships of European design, propelled by steam or other mechanical power, other than oars and sails, engaged in fishing from the Colony.

Composition Fee per annum.
