HARBOUR MASTER'S DEPARTMENT.
No. 833.-It is hereby notified that information has been received from the Military Authorities that Gun Practice will be carried out as under:-
On Friday, the 7th January, 1910:-
From West of Hongkong and Stonecutters in a South-Westerly to North- Westerly direction, at ranges up to 10,700 yards, commencing at 10 a.m., and finishing at 2 p.m.
On Saturday, the 8th January, 1910:—
From Lyemun and Devil's Peak in a South-Easterly to North-Easterly direction, at ranges up to 14,500 yards, commencing at 2 p.m., and finishing at 6 p.m.
On Monday, the 10th January, 1910:-
From West of Hongkong and Stonecutters in a South-Westerly to North- Westerly direction, at ranges up to 6,250 yards, commencing at 7 p.m., and finishing at 10 p.m.
If the weather is unfavourable on any of the above dates, practice will take place on the following day.
All ships, junks and other vessels are to keep clear of the range.

No. 834.-It is hereby notified that the following Sales of Crown Land by Public Auction will be held at the District Land Office, Beaconsfield, Hongkong, at 2.30 p.m., on Friday, the 7th day of January, 1910.
The Lots are sold for the term of Seventy-five years from the 1st day of July, 1898, with the right of renewal for a further term of 24 years less 3 days at a re-assessed Crown Kent, Lot No. 2318 as a Threshing Floor and Lot No. 3235 as a Building Lot, subject to the General Conditions of Sale published in Government Notification No. 365 of 1906. Lot No. 2318 is further subject to special condition No. 1 published in Government Noti- fication No. 697 of 1909.
The amount to be spent in rateable improvements on Lot No. 3235 under the General Condition No. 5 is $250.
