The prime movers to be opened up and working parts exposed.

Provided that, when the prime movers are in charge of certificated engineers, a certificate to the effect that the prime mover has been examined and found in order will be accepted in lieu of the examination by the Inspectors.

(B.) A special examination every fourth year.

4. Inspection A :-

(1.) The examination shall be held every twelve months, the owner giving a week's notice to the Inspector of the time most convenient to the said owner, and in default of such notice the Inspector shall select his own time, giving one week's notice in Form C.

Provision shall be made for recording results of the Inspection by the Inspectors.

(3.) If the Inspector, after making such examination is satisfied that such boiler and prime mover is in good condition, he shall, on payment by the owner thereof of the pre- scribed fees, forward to the Governinent a certificate in the form prescribed in the Schedule to the Ordinance and furnish the owner with a duplicate certificate thereof.

(4.) When the boilers are in charge of non-resident certificated engineers, one visit per month shall be made by them, and they must forthwith report in writing the result and date of visit to the Government.
