SUPREME COURT.
No. 615.-It is hereby notified that His Honour Sir FRANCIS TAYLOR PIGGOTT, Knight, Chief Justice, has, by Commissions signed by him, made the following appoint-
ments :-
CHARLES ALEXANDER DICK MELBOURNE, Deputy Registrar and Appraiser of the Supreme Court of Hongkong, to be a Commissioner to administer oaths and take declarations, affirmations, and attestations of honour in the Supreme Court of Hongkong, and also to be a Commissioner for taking the acknowledgments by married women of the Deeds to be executed by them, so long as he shall hold the said Office of Deputy Registrar and Appraiser as aforesaid.
GEORGE ALBERT WOODCOCK, Magistrate's Clerk, to be a Commissioner to administer oaths and take declarations, affirmations, and attestations of honour in the Supreme Court of Hongkong, so long as he shall hold the said Office of Magistrate's Clerk as aforesaid.

MAGISTRACY.
No. 616.—It is hereby notified that the Annual Session of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace will be held in the Justices' Room, at the Magistracy on Friday, the 5th day of November, 1909, at 2.30 p.m., for the purpose of considering applications for publican's and adjunct licences for the year 1909-1910, under Ordinances Nos. 8 of 1898 and 8 of 1908.
Forms of applications may be obtained at the Magistracy.
All applications must be forwarded to the Magistracy on or before Friday, the 15th. day of October, 1909, and must be accompanied by a deposit of Three dollars.

"The Lots are sold for the term of Seventy-five years from the 1st day of July, 1898, with the right of renewal for a further term of 24 years less 3 days at a re-assessed Crown Rent (Lots Nos. 4341.and 4342 as Building Lots and Lot No. 1098 as a Threshing Floor) subject to the General Conditions of Sale published in Government Notification No. 365 of 1906. Lot No. 1098 is subject further to the special condition hereunder specified.
The amount to be spent in rateable improvements on each of the Lots Nos. 4341 and 4342 under the General Condition No. 5 is $100.
