NOTICE is hereby given that THE HONG-

KONG CONFECTIONERY COMPANY of No. 89 Wellington Street Victoria in the Colony of Hongkong have, on the 10th day of July, 1909, applied for the registration in Hongkong in the Register of Trade Marks of the following Trade Mark:

The representation of a rose in bloom, having eight petals and three leaves on a stalk encircled by a thick border with ribbons flowing therefrom to the right and left, surrounded by thick borders on three sides and a fancy one on the fourth lower side; under- neath is the Applicants' name "The Hongkong Confectionery Company* printed and below which there is a conventional design,

in the name of "THE HONGKONG CONFEC- TIONERY COMPANY" who claim to be the Sole Proprietors thereof.

The Trade Mark has been used by the Applicants in respect of Confectionery, in

Class 42.
