NOTICES TO MARINERS

WESTERN AUSTRALIA.

SOUTH COAST.

Hopetoun Harbour.

NOTICE is hereby given that on and after the 1st May, 1909, an unwatched dioptric light of 5th order will be exhibited from an open braced steel tower erected on the high ground at shore end of the Hopetoun Jetty, in Latitude 33deg, 57min. South, Longitude 120deg. 9min. East.

The height of focal plane above high water will be 72 feet. The light will be fixed white, and visible all round the horizon in clear weather for a distance of 14 miles.

Alteration in Buoyage.

NOTICE is hereby given that on or about the 14th June the following changes in the buoyage of the Tsungming Crossing will be made :-

The First Crossing Buoy will be shifted 2 cables S. 40° W. from its present

position.
