REPORT OF THE FINANCE COMMITTEE.-The Colonial Secretary laid on the table the Report of the Finance Committee, dated the 13th May, 1909, and moved its adoption.

SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION BILL.-The Colonial Secretary laid on the table the Draft Appropriation Account for the year 1908 and moved the First reading of a Bill entitled Än Ordinance to authorize the Appropriation of a Supplementary Sum of Five hundred and twelve thousand two hundred Dollars and thirty-four Cents, to defray the Charges of the Year 1908.
The Colonial Treasurer seconded.

POSTAGE STAMP DEMONETIZATION BILL.-The Attorney General addressed the Council and moved the Second reading of the Bill entitled An Ordinance to demonetize Postage Stamps bearing the Head of Her late Majesty Queen Victoria.
