He THE LUN YIK Firm, lately carry- ing on business as Confectioners at No. 301 Des Voeux Road West, Victoria, in the Colony of Hongkong.

HE above named LUN YIK Firm were adjudicated Bankrupt on the 17th day of May, 1903, and the Official Receiver, Mr. GEORGE HERBERT WAKEMAN, was appointed Trustee of the Estate of the Bankrupt.

SCHÖNFELD & Co.. a firm duly or ganized under the German Law and carrying on business under this style at No. 47 Gr. Theaterstrasse in the city of Hamburg in the German Empire, Mereliants, and of which firm FELIX MANFRED SCHÖNFELD is the Sole Owner, have on the 29th day of April. 1909. applied for the registration in Hong- kong in the Register of Trade Marks of the following Trade Mark: --

A twig of flowers and leaves. the lower part being enlarged into two partien- Jarly wing shaped parts, each of which ending into an inwardly bent projection. A bat sitting on that lower part.

A flying ribbon under- neath. The whole arranged in a square with ornamented edges,

in the name of BENEDICT SCHÖNFELD & Co. who claim to be the Sole Proprietors thereof.

The Trade Mark has been used by the Applicants since at least 6 years in respect of Cordd yarn, yarns of wool, worsted or hair. in Class 33.

OTICE is hereby given that Mr. WONG SAU MING of Kobe, Japan Match Manufacturer has on the 2nd day of March 1909 applied for the registration in Hongkong in the Register of Trade Marks of the follow- ing Trade Marks:--

1. The representation of two Chinese standing opposite each other, each holding the end of a rope, between them is a small table round the edge of which are Chinese characters, meaning long life, riches and honour, and on top a bowl of flowers.

2. Two girls in Japanese dress. Between then is a large fan outspread ou which are flowers.

B. Threa Chinese characters meaning "Prosperity' "written in a peenar manner. On each side are the words

4. A rifle with a fixed byout in an ny right position to which is tied a thig. Across is a sword. A large Chinese coin is slung from the muzzle of the rifle by a thread.

6. Two Chinese characters meaning ** Good Luck written in a peculiar manner. Above are the words · Best Quality Good Luck Matches" in Chinese and below "The Li Hing Firm of China in Chinese. At the sides the words Brethren please patronize" and "Please recognize the Trade Mark" are written in Chinese.

Trade Marks Nos. 1, 2. 3, 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10 and 11, have been used by the Applicants in respect of Matches, in Class 47.

Trade Mark No. 4 is intended to be used by the Applicant forthwith in respect of the same goods in the same class.
