No. 281.-It is hereby notified that Letters Patent dated the 27th April, 1909, have been granted to Mr. EINAR ALEXANDER HYTTEN, of 1, St. Kirkestroede, Copenhagen, in the Kingdom of Denmark, Civil Engineer, for an invention for Improvements in Telegraphone Apparatus.

No. 282.-It is hereby notified that the Z ELECTRIC LAMP MANUFACTURING COMPANY, LIMITED, of Orient House, New Broad Street, London, E.C., England, having by assignment, become entitled to the Letters Patent of the 22nd November, 1907, registered in this Colony in the name of "Z" ELECTRIC LAMP SYNDICATE, LIMITED, in respect of an invention for Improvements in the Manufacture of Filaments for Incandescence Electric Lamps, has, in pursuance of an order made by His Excellency the Governor-in-Council, been registered as the proprietors of the said Letters Patent.

It is hereby notified that a meeting of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the Colony will be held at the Magistracy, at 2.15 p.m., on Friday, the 14th May, 1909, for the purpose of considering the following application under the Liquor Licences Ordinances, 8 of 1898 and 8 of 1908, viz. :-

From one RICHARD FRANCIS DALY for the transfer to him from one J. H. NEWBOLD of the adjunct's licence to sell by retail intoxicating liquors on premises numbered 29 and 31, Des Voeux Road Central, under the sign of "The Owl Grill Room ".
